Scott County Kentucky star commits to Marshall

Matt Walls has played basketball in Huntington before. He and the Scott County Cardinals split two games with nationally ranked Huntington High. The Cardinals won the game in Lexington while HHS won the game at the Memorial Field House.
The next time Walls plays for keeps..it'll be at the Henderson Center.
WSAZ has learned the 6-3 shooting guard has committed to play for the Herd.
Walls averaged 20 points a game for the Kentucky state champions--who went 34-2 this year.
He shoots almost 40 percent from three point land.
Walls reportedly talked wtih Louisville about walking on and earning a scholarship later but decided to go with the sure scholarship to Marshall.
