Power Start New Winning Streak

Just one game after having a 14 game winning streak snapped, the West Virginia Power defeated the Hagerstown Suns 14-3.

The Power scored 4 runs in the 4th inning to take a 5-2 lead.

Chuckie Caufield drove in the first run of the inning with a single and Kenny Holmberg hit a three run homer.

The Power put the game out of reach in the 5th inning by sending 14 batters to the plate and scoring 9 runs.

Andrew Lefave had 2 singles in the fifth to knock in 3 runs and Darren Fords had a three run triple.

Mike McClendon (2-0) picked up the win, with J. T. King picking up his first save of the season.

The Power improve their record to 17-4.
