Top WV Baseball Teams Remain The Same

The top teams remain unchanged in this week's West Virginia high school baseball poll. The poll was released today by the West Virginia Sports Writers
Association.

In Class Triple-A, Hurricane is number one, followed by
Jefferson, St. Albans, John Marshall and Wheeling Park. Morgantown
and Martinsburg are tied for sixth. Bridgeport is eighth, followed
by Parkersburg South and Nitro.

Chapmanville is the runaway number one in Double-A and Logan is
second. Oak Hill is third, followed by Magnolia, Independence, Clay
County, Herbert Hoover, Lincoln, Roane County and Wyoming East.

In Single-A, Pendleton County has a slight lead over number two
Moorefield. Williamstown is third, followed by Wheeling Central,
East Hardy, Wirt County, Notre Dame, Doddridge County, Van and
Valley Fayette.
