Power Bounces Back After Loss

The West Virginia Power held off a Hagerstown Sun rally to claim an
8-6 victory on the road.

They scored in the first 4 innings to take a 7-0 lead.

Andy Bouchie got the Power on the board in the 1st with a two out single.

Darren Ford drove in the first of four runs in the 2nd with a single.

Steve Chapman scored the second run of the inning on a throwing error, with Chuckie Caufield hitting a two run triple.

Bouchie hit a solo home run in the 4th to give the Power a 7-0 lead.

The Suns countered with 3 runs in the 4th and a run in the 5th and 6th innings.

Brae Wright (2-2) picked up the win, with E. J. Shanks getting his 3rd save of the season.

The Power continue to the SAL Northern Division with a record of 22-8.
