The Cleveland Indians are off to one of their
best home starts in club history. The Tribe improved their Jacobs
Field record to 16-and-4 today with a 5-to-3 win over Cincinnati.
The win gave the Indians two out of three in the interleague
series. The 16-and-4 start matches the best home start in the
club's 107-year history.
Paul Byrd got the win and improved to 4-and-0 in Cleveland this
year. On the season, Byrd is 4-and-1. Joe Borowski picked up the
save, his 13th. The loser was Aaron Harang, who dips to 5-and-2.
The Reds took a 2-to-nothing lead but the Indians put the game
away with a four-run fourth inning.
