Asheville's starter Keith Weiser allowed the Power's 5th run of the inning to score on a throwing error.
The Tourists scored 3 runs in the bottom of the third cut the Power lead to two, 6-4.
The Power added a run in the 4th and 6th innings to take an 8-4 lead.
Mike McKenry cut the lead to 8-6 with a two run homer in the bottom of the sixth.
The Tourists tied the game in the 7th with a sacrifice fly and a double.
In the top of the 8th, Steve Chapman doubled with two outs allowing John Alonso to score the winning run.
J. T. King (4-1) picked up the win in relief, with E. J. Shanks picking up his 6th save of the year.
