The agent for Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver
Chris Henry is denying that his client failed a drug test.
Marvin Frazier says authorities in Northern Kentucky have jumped
the gun. The Bengals also say they want more information.
Earlier today, a Kenton County prosecutor said initial results
indicated that Henry had failed a test.
A spokeswoman for the office now says more testing is needed.
Henry has been arrested several times in the past year, and the
N-F-L has suspended him for eight games in the upcoming season.
Failing a drug test could result in that suspension being
extended to at least a full season.
He could also face more jail time in Kenton County, which is
across the Ohio River from Cincinnati.
