The West Virginia Power won the first of a four game road series against the Kannapolis Intimidators, 6-4.
Kannapolis took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on back to back homers.
The Power came back with 5 runs in the top of the third.
Chuckie Caufield singled to right field to score Michael Brantley.
Then with two out, Andy Bouchie doubled home Caufield.
Bouchie scored on Kenneth Holmberg's single to right field.
Taylor Green ended the Power's third inning lightening with a single that scored Steve Chapman and Holmberg.
West Virginia's Brent Brewer scored the Power's final run of the game on Chuckie Caufield's ground out.
Milwaukee's first draft pick last year Jeremy Jeffress (1-0) made his first start for the Power and picked up the win.
J. T. King picked up his 2nd save of the season.
The Power (34-15) lead Greenboro by 5 1/2 games in the Northern Division.
