The West Virginia Power continued their domination over the Kannapolis Intimidators, with an 11-8 victory.
The Power took a 2-0 lead in the first with Darren Ford scoring on a wild pitch and Andrew Lafave's RBI double.
Ford hit his 5th homer of the season, a 2 run shot, in the 2nd inning to give West Virginia a 4-0 lead.
The Power added 3 more runs in the 4th to take a 7-0 lead.
Kenny Holmberg scored on Chuckie Caufield's sacrifice fly, Michael Brantley scored on a Andrew Lafave's double and Andy Bouchie singled in Lafave.
The Intimidators tied the game at 7 in the bottom of the 4th with two three homers.
Andrew Lefave put the Power back on top in the 6th with a two homer, his fourth of the year.
The Power added 2 more in the 8th.
Reliever Travis Wendte (2-0) picked up the win, with E. J. Shanks picking up his 8th save.
