Garrett Atkins homered and singled in the winning
run in the tenth inning to help the Colorado Rockies rally past the
Cincinnati Reds ten-to-nine today.

Kaz Matsui also hit a bases loaded triple in the Rockies'
four-run eighth inning to lead Colorado's comeback from a six-run

After the Rockies' four-run rally in the eighth put them ahead
nine-to-eight, closer Brian Fuentes failed to secure his 13th
straight save. Juan Castro led off the ninth with a double and went
to third when Fuentes threw away a pickoff attempt. Castro scored
on Jeff Conine's one-out single.

Reds starter Matt Beslile left with Cincinnati ahead
eight-to-four after giving up a two-out single in the seventh.
David Weathers blew his second save in 13 chances.
