Louisville coach Rick Pitino says former assistant coach Billy Donovan made a mistake in how he handled backing out of a job with the N-B-A's Orlando Magic.
But Pitino says he's not worried about the long term effects of Donovan's decision on his reputation.
Donovan agreed last week to coach the Magic but had a change of heart. He decided to return to the University of Florida.
Pitino says he talked to Donovan before he was offered the Magic job but didn't give Donovan any advice.
Pitino says he outlined what life is like as an N-B-A coach and told Donovan he'd have to be prepared for the grind.
