Four Power Players Headed to All-Star Game

The 1st place West Virginia Power has placed four players on the South Atlantic League's North Division all-star team.

The game will be played June 19th in Rome, Georgia.

The Power players named to the all-star team are center fielder Darren Ford, catcher Andy Bouchie and pitchers Mike McClendon and E-J Shanks.

Ford is the Power's second-leading hitter with a .346 batting average and 31 stolen bases. Bouchie has a .263 average in 31 games.

McClendon is 5-2 with a 2.87 ERA in eleven starts. Shanks is 3-0 with nine saves in 22 games.

But four of the Power's five .300 hitters did not make the team.
