Former Purdue guard Chris Lutz is transferring to Marshall.
Lutz started 24 of 28 games during his freshman season in
2005-2006 but started only ten last season, when he averaged six
points while leading the Big Ten in three-point shooting.
The Bedford, New Hampshire, native wanted to move closer to home
initially. But he says he didn't feel right with some of the East
Coast schools.
He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining after sitting
out the 2007-2008 season.
