Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman"
Jones has withdrawn the appeal of his suspension and will serve the
one-year ban imposed by N-F-L commissioner Roger Goodell.

Jones met with Goodell today at league headquarters in New York
and was accompanied by his agent. He says he wanted to tell the
commissioner about the steps he's taken to change his life since
being penalized on April tenth following a series of off-field
episodes.

The suspension could be reduced to ten games if Jones meets all
the restrictions set by Goodell.

Jones' agent says his client intends to keep working out and
will go back to school by taking courses online from West Virginia
University, where he played his college football.
