Dale Earnhardt Jr. sure knows how to pack them in! More than 5,000 people went to the Ona Speedway Saturday night to see one of the most popular drivers in NASCAR.

The C & O Motors Race Of Champions featured Earnhardt Jr. as the flag holder and Kenny Wallace, Sterling Marlin, Martin Truex Jr., and Clint Bowyer all driving Classic cars.

Before the NASCAR stars hit the track, they addressed the local media and said coming back to track like Ona takes them back to a time when they were young and running on short tracks in their hometowns.

The Race Of Champions had the 4 drivers taking 8 laps around the track then the field was inverted. They ran 8 more laps without incident and the winner was Clint Bowyer. Just before 8pm, the 5 hopped back on a plane heading back to Michigan where they take the track on Sunday afternoon.

The video attached to this story includes the race and quotes from Earnhardt Jr., Wallace, and Truex Jr.
