The West Virginia Power snapped a 27 inning scoreless streak and picked a 7-4 victory over the Augusta GreenJackets in extra innings.
The Power broke the scoreless streak in the 4th inning with a single by Taylor Green.
Andrew Lefave scored the second run of the inning on an errant throw by Marcus Sanders.
The Power took a 3-0 lead in the 6th when Sanders made another errant throw allowing Lefave to score.
The GreenJackets scored a run in the 6th and and 7th innings.
West Virginia took a 4-2 lead in the 8th with a single by Kenny Holmberg.
The GreenJackets scored twice in the bottom of the 8th to tie the game at 4.
In the top of the 12th, Taylor Green singled home what proved to be the winning run of the game.
The Power added two more runs on Kenny Holmberg's sacrifice fly and a single by Martin Maldonado.
Omar Aguilar (7-1) picked up the win in relief.
Matt Kretzschmar made his West Virginia Power debut by picking up the save.
