Power Lose Second In A Row

The West Virginia Power fell to two and half games behind division leading Lakewood, with a 7-2 loss.

The BlueClaws jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the 1st inning on a three run homer by Gus Milner.

Lakewood added another run in the 4th when Milner scored on a single by Tuffy Gosewisch.

Steve Chapman scored the Power's first run of the game in the 7th, thanks to a failed pick off attempt on Charlie Fermaint.

Lakewood made it 5-1 in the bottom on the 7th when Quinten Berry scored on a throwing error.

They added 2 more runs in the 8th on another throwing error and a sacrifice fly.

The Power closed out the scoring on the evening on a single by Andrew Lefave that scored Brad Miller.

Alex Periard (5-2) took the loss.
