You can now call him Father George.

George Nedeff, who coached the West Virginia University men's
wrestling team in the 1960s and 1970s, has been ordained a Catholic
priest in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Nedeff, who played football and wrestled at W-V-U, finished
coaching in 1974 with a final record of 58 wins, 35 losses and
three ties. After that, he became the head of W-V-U's athletic
facilities.

The Parkersburg Athletic Hall of Famer plans to visit his home
town next week.

His first assignment as priest will be as chaplain at Our Lady
of Corpus Christi College.
