Frankie Smith leaving Miami to become head coach

Longtime Miami (OH) assistant Frankie Smith will become a head basketball coach again.
The former head coach at Tug Valley High School is leaving Oxford to become the new head coach at Saginaw Valley State in Michigan.
Smith will become the coach at the same school where Charlie Coles, his head coach at Miami, started his career. IN fact, Coles' son will go with Smith to Saginaw to become an assistant coach.
He was an assistant at Miami since 1999 and led Tug Valley to a state title in 1998.
