Power Win By One

The West Virginia Power wrapped up a two game road series against the Lexington Legends, with a 4-3 victory.

Taylor Green put the Power up 1-0 in the top of the 2nd when he scored on a double by John Alonso.

West Virginia expanded their lead to 2-0 in the top of the 7th on a single by Jimmy Mojica that scored Brent Brewer.

In the bottom of the 7th, Lexington cut the Power lead to 2-1 on a homer by Andrew Holder.

Matt LaPorta gave the Power a 4-1 lead with a two run homer in the top of the 8th.

In the bottom of the 9th, Ralph Henriquez got the Legends to with in a run with a two run double.

Jeremy Jeffress (9-5) pitched five scoreless innings and struck out 8 Legend batters, to pick up the win.

Jared Sutton picked up his 2nd save of the year.
