Marshall University today announced its non-conference football schedule for both 2008 and 2009.
The Thundering Herd will open the 2008 season at home against
Illinois State on August 30th, before traveling to Wisconsin on
September Sixth. The following weekend, the team travels to
Morgantown for the third annual Coal Bowl game against West
Virginia and then host Big East member Cincinnati on October
Fourth.
In 2009, the Herd will host Southern Illinois on September
Fifth, travel to Virginia Tech on September 12th and host Bowling
Green on September 26th, before facing West Virginia. The location
of that game is to be determined.
