The West Virginia Power lost the second game of a best of five series against the Columbus Catfish, 5-2.
That means the Power must win the next three games on the road to claim the South Atlantic League Championship.
The Catfish scored two runs in the first inning on a lead off homer by Maiko Loyola and a single by Cesar Suarez that scored John Matulia.
Chuckie Caufield scored the Power's first run of the game in the bottom of the 1st on a single by Taylor Green.
Columbus added two more runs in the top of the 4th on a single by Quinn Stewart.
John Alonso's homer in the bottom of th 4th cut the Catfish lead to 4-2.
The Catfish added an insurance run in the top of 6th on a sacrifice fly by Quinn Stewart.
The 3rd game of the series is scheduled for Thursday night in Columbus, Georgia.
