West Virginia Head Coach Dana Holgorsen announced today that wide receiver Steadman Bailey told him he will forego his final season in Morgantown and declare for the NFL draft.
Bailey leads the nation in touchdown catches with 23 on the season.
He holds the WVU season record for most receiving yards with 1,501 this year. He said NFL projections indicate he could be a 3rd round draft pick next year.
Bailey has one more game this season when West Virginia meets Syracuse December 29th in the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium in New York City.
