CHARLESTON, W.Va (WSAZ) -- A monster second half by the Cardinals leads the South to a 43-14 victory in the 2013 North/South Classic Saturday night.
After a 14-14 tie in the first half, the South Cardinals would score 29 unanswered points and notch the convincing victory at Laidley field.
The first score of the day for South came when they were down by a touchdown. They would recover a fumble in the end zone to tie the game up at 7.
In the fourth, Wayne’s Brandon Spurlock finished off the scoring with a big time touchdown run to give the south a 43-14 victory.
