ESPN's Herm Edwards to speak at Big Green Banquet

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Herm Edwards, an NFL analyst for ESPN and former head coach for the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs, will be the keynote speaker at the 36th annual Big Green Dinner, presented by the Francis Charitable Foundation. The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Henderson Center on Friday, April 25.

Marshall student-athletes will be honored at the dinner and Edwards will be introduced by Marshall legend Chad Pennington, who played quarterback for the coach as a member of the Jets.

"Coach Herm Edwards is one of the few men that I consider one of my mentors,” Pennington said. “He has been a great coach, friend, and mentor, and I am thrilled that our Marshall University community has the opportunity to listen to Coach Edwards speak."

Individual tickets for the event are $80 and VIP reception/table sponsorships are $2,000. Interested parties should contact the Big Green office at 304-696-4661 and RSVP by April 17.
