HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Cornerback Derrick Thomas has transferred from Penn State to Marshall.
Marshall coach Doc Holliday announced Thomas' transfer Thursday. Thomas, a junior, will be eligible to play this season because of the NCAA's penalties against Penn State following the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case.
The 6-foot, 181-pound Thomas made four tackles in nine games at Penn State last season.
