Marshall Loses 2 Players before Spring Practice

Marshall coach Doc Holliday announced two players have left the team on the eve of the opening of spring football practice in Huntington.

Holliday said junior wide receiver Jermain Kelson, who had 31 career catches, has decided to leave the team for personal reasons.

The coach also said defensive tackle Marquis Aiken has graduated and is no longer on the roster. Aiken had 34 tackles, including 6 tackles for loss last season.

Marshall's spring practice begins at 3:30 on Tuesday at Edwards Stadium.
