Mountaineers Football Signs 4 Jucos

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia has signed four junior college football transfers for the spring semester.

Coach Dana Holgorsen announced the signings Wednesday of quarterback Skyler Howard, linebacker Edward Muldrow III, offensive tackle Sylvester Townes and cornerback Keishawn Richardson.

The 5-foot-11 Howard threw for more than 3,100 yards and 33 touchdowns at Riverside (Calif.) City College. He also rushed for 343 yards and five scores.

Muldrow had 56 tackles this season at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, Miss. He originally signed at South Carolina and redshirted as a freshman.

The 6-foot-6 Townes played two seasons at Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale, Miss.
