Power Game Suspended

(Charleston, WV- April 11, 2013)- The West Virginia Power game at Asheville on Thursday night was suspended in the fifth inning due to rain. It will be resumed at 5:35 pm on Friday with the Power leading the Tourists 5-0. D.J. Crumlich will be one second base with one out in the top of the fifth when play continues.

Orlando Castro made the start Thursday and retired the first 11 batters he faced. West Virginia backed him with two runs in the top of the third on a double by Josh Bell, a run in the fourth on two singles, and two more in the fifth before play was halted after Crumlich’s double.

Thursday’s game will be concluded to the full nine innings and the regularly scheduled game for April 12 will be a seven inning contest.
