HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Scott Sinclair has been hired as Marshall's fifth football strength and conditioning coach in the past two years.
Marshall announced Sinclair's hiring Friday. He replaces Joe Miday, who left to take over Western Kentucky's strength program.
Sinclair spent the past nine years as associate director of strength and conditioning at Central Florida.
After Frank Piraino left as Marshall's strength coach in January 2011 for a similar job at Temple, Scott Bennett lasted less than six months in the position and James Townsend only four months. Miday was on the job for a year.
