Huntington Prep's Andrew Wiggins--considered the best high school player in America---has been named to the prestigious McDonald's All American team.
The 36th annual all star game has been scheduled for April 3rd in Chicago.
Wiggins becomes the first Huntington Prep player named to the team and the first Huntington based high school named since 2007. Former Huntington High players Patrick Patterson and O.J. Mayo were named McDonalds All Americans that year
"It's an honor to be selected to the McDonald's All American game," Wiggins said. To play in a game that has had so many great players play in it is a privilege. I look forward to playing against the best high school players and representing Canada and Huntington proudly."
