Tickets scarce for WVU games

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - The last few remaining West Virginia
University football game tickets are on sale.
The only home game with tickets available is the November 24th
Connecticut contest. All the season tickets are sold out.
There are still some tickets available for away games at South
Florida, Syracuse and Cincinnati but no tickets are available for
road dates at Marshall, Maryland and Rutgers.
Matt Wells, director of marketing for the Athletics Department,
says demand has been very high this year.
For those who want tickets to a game that's sold out, Wells
suggests checking Web sites such as Stubhub.com and area newspapers
for season ticket holders who are selling extras.
He says fans can also check in periodically with the Mountaineer
Ticket Office at 1-800 - WVU GAME to see if visiting teams return
any tickets from their allotments.
WVU opens its 2007 season on September First against Western
Michigan at home.
