FAIRMONT, W.Va. (AP) Dervon Wallace ran for 130 yards and three
touchdowns to lead Shepherd to a 31-10 win at Fairmont State today.
Shepherd also dominated on defense, scoring twice on safeties
and holding Fairmont State to 24 yards rushing. Fairmont State was
held scoreless until late in the game. Derek Taylor connected with
Stephan Johnson on a 3-yard scoring pass with less than three
minutes to play.
In other action, Seton Hill beat Glenville State 34-27 in
overtime and the University of Charleston beat West Virginia State
49-32 today.
