Chris Atkins is a junior broadcast journalism major at Marshall University. He grew up watching WSAZ in Spencer, in Roane County, W.Va.

Chris is a weekend photojournalist for WSAZ, working out of both Huntington and Charleston. When he’s not out on a shoot with the station, you might find him working on a story for Marshall’s MU-Report or behind the microphone for WMUL Marshall’s radio station. Before coming to work for WSAZ, Chris anchored and reported for Roane County High School’s WRCH Raider Television and spent two years with ESPN, shooting Marshall athletics.
