Kari Anderson is a 2008 graduate of Ohio University.

Kari Anderson is the WSAZ NewsChannel3 6 O’Clock Producer, Assignment Editor, and Intern Director.

Kari grew up in Gallipolis, Ohio and is a graduate of Gallia Academy High School. That is where she first found her love for the news with WGHS, the school run morning newscast. She then attended the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and graduated in 2008.

Kari started at WSAZ as an intern and has produced a number of different shows at the station. Kari says she is much more comfortable behind the desk than in front of the camera, so don’t expect to see her in the anchor chair anytime soon.

Kari now lives in Point Pleasant, W.Va. with her husband. When she’s not working, Kari enjoys reading, writing, taking pictures and baking.
