Rob Johnson co-anchors Wake Up, Sunrise and Today and anchors the Midday newscast.
Rob is the Early Morning and Midday anchor for WSAZ. He started working for the station in 1984. He's worked in several capacities for the news team beginning as an intern before getting a full time job as a general assignment reporter. Since then, he has served as a producer and anchor for several different newscasts.
Rob is a graduate of Huntington High School and Indiana University. He and his wife Mary have one daughter. Rob also has a long legacy at WSAZ. His father Bos was News Director and Anchor for the station for 25 years before leaving in 1976.
Outside of work, Rob is very active in the community. He serves on the board for Hospital Hospitality House of Huntington and serves as President of Huntington Area Habitat for Humanity.
