Bill Murray co-anchors First at Five weekday afternoons. He also reports daily for all newscasts. In 1995, Bill returned to WSAZ NewsChannel 3 after a four year absence.
Bill is an award-winning journalist. His first job was in West Virginia -- at WDTV-TV in Clarksburg. After working at WDTV, he came to WSAZ-TV as co-host and story producer for PM Magazine -- a syndicated show which showcased the people and special events of the Tri-State region.
He left in 1991 to anchor the weekend news in at WOKR-TV in Rochester, New York. While there he won several awards for his spot news coverage and health stories.
Bill is active in his church. He enjoys tennis and volleyball.. He also donates his time to several local organizations -- including Hospice of Huntington.
