Amanda joined the WSAZ Charleston team in January of 2006.

Before her move to Charleston, she spent three years in Erie Pennsylvania- which isn't too far from her home in Cleveland Ohio.

While in Erie Amanda dodged the snow, and spent a year on the crime and court beat. After that she spent the next two years anchoring "Good Morning Erie".

Amanda graduated from the Ohio University EW Scripps School of Journalism in 2002. Most of her free time was spent at WOUB. That’s where she had the chance to learn all the tricks of the trade- including radio. Her experience there helped land her first job- at WTAP in Parkersburg West Virginia.

In her free time Amanda enjoys running, swimming and biking. In September of 2005 she completed her first triathlon for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. The experience- most importantly was for a good cause- but also helped her learn a whole lot of discipline! When she's not as motivated, Amanda likes to read, and spend time with her family.
