After 12 years in the news business, Dave is proud to call WSAZ home. He's homegrown to the region from Kenova, West Virginia. His family resides in Wayne County.
You can catch Dave's reports at 11pm Mon-Fri. He's also a back up anchor when needed for newscasts. Dave graduated from Ceredo Kenova High School and Marshall University, then began his broadcast career as an intern with WSAZ during his senior year at Marshall University.
Dave then took a job reporting at a WSAZ sister station, KBIM TV in Roswell, New Mexico, where he won 1st Place "Investigative News" & "Best of Show" for an environmental issue. After reporting for nine months in the desert, Dave came back home and rejoined WSAZ as a full time reporter.
Dave enjoys traveling, spending time with his cockatoo "Lucy" and learning about different cultures.
Dave was a foreign exchange student in Spain after high school. He volunteers his time teaching first graders Spanish at Kenova Elementary. (His Alma Mater
