Mike is News Operations Manager at WSAZ. His daily challenge is to bring the WSAZ news operation to higher level of functionality by implementing new systems, technologies, and training methods.

He joined the team in 1999 as an intern while attending Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. In 2001, Mike joined WSAZ as a full-time photojournalist.

Mike currently serves as a media representative on the Kanawha Putnam Emergency Planning Committee (KPEPC).

Mike has served as president of the West Virginia Associated Press Broadcasters Association.

Mike is originally from Mentor, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. There, he got his start in television through his high school's television production class. Currently, Mike lives in South Charleston.
