CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Gas prices in West Virginia are down nearly a dime since last week.
AAA's Fuel Gauge says the average price for a gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline has dropped to $3.547. That's down 9.8 cents from last week.
AAA East Central says the decrease is due to cheaper prices for crude oil because of the decline in the value of the U.S. dollar.
Gas is most expensive in Martinsburg, where AAA quoted it at $3.748 for a gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded gas. The cheapest gas was reported Bridgeport, for $3.462 a gallon.
AAA East Central covers West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and Kentucky.
