The cell phone that Apple claims has revolutionized the industry is about to get an upgrade.

A faster version of the iPhone is now on tap. Stock analyst at Bank of America say they expect Apple to release an iPhone with high-speed wireless connection by June.

The new phones will run on AT&T's "3G" wireless network. Stock prices in both companies have inched upward since the bank made public a research report on the new iPhones.

Apple plans to churn out more than 10 million of the new iPhones by the end of the year.

I honestly dont think a better phone will ever exist....of course that's what I said about the motorola razor

Our area does not currently have 3G service. When I spoke with an AT&T representative he said that the new iPhone wouldn't be coming out until late this year (presumably he is saying that to keep sales of current models strong). But he did say that 3G service was coming to our area in June (coincidence?).
