Two of the web's biggest and most popular social networking sites are working to break down the barriers between them.
The two leading social networking sites, MySpace and Facebook, say they'll release software in the weeks ahead that will incorporate profile datea, friends lists and other information from users.
That will allow users to go from site to site without having to rebuild their profiles each time. Messages on one won't show up on another and you'll have to copy and paste party invitees. A third tool, released by Google, was blocked by Facebook, citing privacy issues.

Good news for consumers as telecom analysts say the growth in the cell phone market is slowing down.
The growth rate dropped last year to 7.9 percent from 11.5 percent and analysts say that trend wil continue.
So, what's that mean for you? With the slowdown, carriers will soon have to compete harder for customers, possibly meaning lower monthly fees or more minutes and texts.
Analysts say the real growth will be in wireless data, meaning text and internet, with AT&T's IPhone providing that company with 50% data revenue growth each quarter.
