HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Fans of Apple's iPhone were in a full frenzy Monday, and a big promise from the nation's largest cable operator.
Comcast is promising that by early 2010, it will offer Internet service so fast you'll be able to download a high-definition movie in mere minutes.
The nation's second largest Internet service provider is also the biggest cable TV operator.
The company says it plans to deploy technology capable to delivering up to 100 megabits of data or more per second in 20 percent of markets by the end of this year
It seems as soon as Apple's iPhone hit store shelves last year, there was talk about a faster, 3-g iPhone, and after months of speculation, it's finally here.
Monday Apple unveiled an upgraded iPhone with a faster Internet connection and GPS capabilities.
An 8 gig 3-g iPhone is set to sell for $199, and the 16 gig will sell for $299. They'll hit stores July 11th.
