Watch what you're doing. That's the word from emergency physicians who are now concerned about a dangerous trend. It seems there has been a rise in injuries, even deaths, related to text messaging.
While talking on cell phones can also be distracting, at least you can look where you're going. Doctors say it's the fact that you have to look down at a key pad that makes texting so dangerous. Doctors urge everyone to follow safety measures, including not texting while doing physical activities like biking or walking and especially while crossing the street.

Netflix subscribers, you now have a new way to get your movies without waiting on the mailman. On Thursday, Netflix and LG Electronics announced a new Blu-ray disc player that will also allow Netflix subscribers to view streaming video of movies and TV shows for no additional charge. LG’s BD 300 is a set-top box due to hit store shelves this fall. Not only will Netflix users be able to stream their movies, but the system also plays Blu-ray and standard DVDs, so you won't have to get rid of all those.
A report in The Wall Street Journal says LG will sell the device for "well under $500 dollars". You may remember, earlier this month, we reported how Microsoft will soon allow Netflix users to stream their movies to their Xbox 360s, so there's another option for Netflix fans.
