Microsoft Windows has set a record, but it's probably one they'd rather not celebrate. USA Today reports that Microsoft has released a record 26 patches on Tuesday's Windows update -- of those, 17 are listed as "critical." Microsoft says there's a security hole in its Active X control that could let hackers in and take control of your computer. The company suggests you install the patches to keep your computer safe.

This program also flashes a warning should you stumble across phony sites used by online criminals to trick you into disclosing personal information.
