No one does hype like Apple, and the company was at it again Tuesday in San Francisco. A new revamped line of Apple iPods are now available for music and game enthusiasts. Apple Inc. CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the new iPod Nano and iPod Touch models. He says the Nano models are the thinnest iPods Apple has ever made. He hopes the new iPod Touch models will appeal to people who download a lot of games because of the high memory capacity.
Other big announcements from Apple include the new iTunes 8, which is available for download right now and has some cool, new features. There also is the pending release of iPhone firmware 2.1. Apple promises that software update will patch up some of the bugs in the phone, including its recent 3 GB problems.

NBC and Google are teaming up to allow Google access to NBC's cable channels like MSNBC, Oxygen and the Sci Fi network. The joint venture underscores Google's desire to advertise away from its Web pages and NBC's attempts at gaining access to different advertisers. They both want more data into how you watch TV ads, and they can get it because of Google's ties with Dish TV, which can measure to the second what people are watching. They plan to share ad revenue and find ways for Google to run local ads.
