In the ultra-competitive game of online search engines, it's always about staying -- or trying to stay -- a couple feet ahead. That’s what ask.com is trying to do with a new makeover. The producers of the search engine say you'll now find a quicker, more relevant search engine on the site. They say the changes speed up searches by 30 percent.
Ask has changed its page format to two panels instead of three, and a question-and-answer section on the page. Ask still trails far behind Google and Yahoo in terms of online searches, with just less than five percent of Internet search inquiries.

T-Mobile will soon introduce a new device and service for its subscribers, but it's not a phone. It's a picture frame with a SIM card built in. T-Mobile put a GSM SIM card in the device, meaning you can wirelessly upload pictures from anywhere to the picture frame. T-Mobile says it will soon bring the device -- named the "Cameo"-- and its service to the U.S.
T-Mobile will charge $10 a month for the service and will give subscribers a new SIM card with a number. T-Mobile isn't available in our region, so we'll have to keep an eye out for similar services and devices from other cell phone providers.
