The AEP power plants and the emissions they put off into our atmosphere.. There was a blue haze over charleston a day or two ago and it had a smell of electric wires burning.. The average particulate matter concentrations were 4 times higher than normal...Basically meaning if u have allergies or respiratory problems this would not have been a pleasant day in Charleston.

Well here is a news flash maybe if West virginia wasnt a state that only benefited the older population more young people would stay. The job economy is no good. Even though Joe Manchin likes to be in the newspaper everyday and tell West Virginians how much he has improved the economy. People here in West Virginia work minium wage jobs and are taxed to death where it is almost impossible to survive especially for us young people who have families. Then to top it off our little cities like to make us pay a user's fee to work in the city. The user fee gets passed but who votes? The older people who get to live at home and have a guaranteed retirement/ social security check come in. I bet if more young people werent to busy trying to make a living to survive the outcome on the user fee election would be different.

Unfortunately, there exists in the medical community a willingness to judge those without insurance as being unworthy. I have worked in the medical profession over 30 years, and no one is immune to losing a job, being without insurance, and needing assistance when ill. Quality health care should be provided equally for all, regardless of social status. Register to vote and let your voice be heard in November.

Is this not discrimination? Do these children not have a right to the same health care as children who have a little "Blue Card". There is one Doctor, seen several times a week on WCHS, who dropped all his medicaid patients like hot potatoes. When calling for an appointment, you were told you would no longer be seen by this doctor. One new infant could not be released from the new born nursery at Women and Childrens Hospital because he refused to come to the Nursery and check it out, even though he was supposed to be the pediatricain of record. Too bad the baby had a Medicaid card. Cant treat that child, doesnt have a little "Blue Card" to pay the big bucks for treatment. What is going wrong in WV?? Children are going without Health care because of it. Someone needs to look and take action.
