Now is your chance to yell about the Ohio Primary. Happy? Disappointed? Surprised? Speak now!

We'll share some of your thoughts on upcoming newscasts on MyZ and WSAZ.

Here are some topics to ponder:

Why do you believe counties in southern Ohio came out so strong for Hillary Clinton? She won with 77-80% of the vote in our local counties.

Should Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama choose each other as a running mate when one of them emerges from this nomination process?

What should Democrats do with the delegates in Michigan and Florida now?

Is all this Democrat tussling helpful for the presumptive Republican nominee John McCain?

Will you vote for John McCain in the general election? Why/why not?

How does John McCain match up against Clinton or Obama?

Share your thoughts below!

I know this yell is for the Ohio election, but I just wanted to vent. I looked at the Kanawha County Clerk's web site and noticed there is no one running against these career politicians. I said I would vote any legislator that voted on their raise out, but I guess when I get to the polls in November I will just not vote at all on those incumbants. We need new blood but no new people has filed for candidacy. Is there anyone out there to help? I would vote for anyone over those self serving pigs that are in office now.

Is the election frustrating you? Well, it a load of this… I filed to run for local office just to find out my name is not even on the ballot!

Who is it that the people who forced George Bush on us desires for President ? Anyone? So at least we know who Hillary Clinton is , look at her record I don't mean lately look back everything she has been involved in has to do with the betterment of the people always pushing for something to help the people in some way. Anyone who has done that their whole lives & let me add being successful at it has to be a good candidate. Never heard of Barack Obama before he started running against Hillary he can't be for the working people or the union I belong to would have known but we did hear of Hillary all the time along with her husband & they done plenty just one that personally effected me was FMLA it saved my job & anyone who ever needed FMLA knows what a life saver it is. The Republicans wanted to do away with it because their rich cronies didn't like the fact that the middle class workers were protected from being unjustly fired.

Yes Joshua, I can tell your a strong held republican. You stating "I don't want to hear anything about the facts" backs that up. And to be honest, I don't care if it's a Dem., Rep. or a little green man from mars, no one can fix what Bush has done to this country.

Posted by: Allision on Mar 6, 2008 at 01:25 PM
This is to Joshua who posted about my OPINION. First of all I am not Democrat nor Republican and its none of your business how I voted. I have a 3 year old child and also have neighbors who do drugs. What do you think my fears are? They have guns and don't need them. They are constantly pulled over by the cops or the cops show up at their house. So you think it is alright for people to have machine guns or some other weapons not needed say for hunting, I don't believe they do.I never said this was about race. I just said it seems to be seen on tv alot with the seperation of race and who votes for who. Also my husband was in the military for 5 years and served 7 months in Iraq. He got out of the military because he suffers from PTSD. 2 months before Iraq he lost his mom. I don't think it is right to leave our guys in a country where they are only getting killed. I know 2 other Army guys who have gotten out and have problems after going to war. You think McCain is going to help with that?

Posted by: sweetsue on Mar 6, 2008 at 11:29 AM
you said it all some1 went by looked at it cool wish i could have one like it .we could if someone would take care of my kids and pay our part of taxes, when he sales it i would like some of my tax back.what do thay need with a snow blade why dont thay use salt like we do.just another way to use up some funds.

It is amazing that we are so celebrity starved in Southern Ohio that a one day appearance by Clinton here and everyone ran to vote for her. I think its a travesty she even got 2 votes let alone winning it. Heaven help us

Posted by: some 1 on Mar 5, 2008 at 10:53 PM
why should we home owners have to be tax to death, the people in office are stealing the money .thats not fair .drive by the welfare office and look at the big white truck with a snow blade on it we working people paid for.gene myeres put it up for sale.not that much snow on parking lot. glad the levey got turn down.

Seriously, everyone should leave race out of this election you either like Obama or you dont just leave race out of it racism is a nasty disgusting thing that is way to prevalent in our area Secondly Hilary isnt that great of a person I am a female and I am not sexist however I do believe that hillary cannot handle the pressure of being president just look she has craked already. I dont like any of the canadites but I believe that ppl should just vote for who they believe can do the best job and leave racism and sexism out of it. Thanks

Posted by: E.S. on Mar 5, 2008 at 07:53 PM
I think that Obama and Clinton should be running mates in the election. I think that both candidates have good ideas and together in the office, they would do a lot of good for the US.

It kills me that everyone thinks the Government should be responsible for everything, we are continually giving them to much power. Leave all the law-making to the states, such as gay marriage or abortion or whatever. You can keep the big Government small by giving them less power. Oh an to the person who said McCain is the way for less taxes look again he wants to keep sending troops to Iraq and that is going to cost money that will come from taxes, or from the trillions we borrow from China consistently. I also don't think I should have to pay for everyones healthcare under the Democrats Universal Health Care, not my responsibility. If you want a real President you should have voted for Ron Paul. If everyone would think about things the right way then we could still write him in and make the first step to make things right.

To Key, The Children,s Services in Lawrence Co. are Federally funded programs. Why do they need another $600,000.00 . There is no accountability for how the money was going to be spent. That,s all the political leaders in Lawrence Co. know how to do is tax and fee us to death. Maybe they should try to live within the budget that has been set aside for them. One more point, why is it the first people the local government comes after for money is the property owners? Lets make a tax or propose a levy that everyone within the county would have to contribute to, not just property owners. If not then only property owners should be allowed to vote on that particular issue since thats who will be footing the bill.

I THINK WE SHOULD GIVE HILLARY A CHANCE, THINGS CAN'T BE MUCH WORSE THAN THEY ARE NOW SHE WOULD GET MY VOTE

Posted by: MK on Mar 5, 2008 at 04:02 PM
To Key, Obviously you don't live from paycheck to paycheck. I don't eat out or go to movies now. Why, because gasoline is over 3.00 a gallon, the electric company wants an increase, the water and sewer bill is going up. I barely have enough left for groceries after all is paid. People just can't afford any extra these days. I haven't even donated to the VFW like I used to. They should add it on the bottom of the tax form so that if people are feeling a little generous when due a refund, maybe they can help then. We don't need any more tax burden.

IF JESUS WOULD COME BACK TO DAY WOULD THEY TAX HIM? SHOULD LOVE ONE ANOTHER STOP CHEATING US OUT OF OUR MONEY. SHAME ON LAWRENCE CO.

Posted by: WV Voter on Mar 5, 2008 at 01:59 PM
For those concerned about taxes, you need to wake up and vote for McCain. Both Clinton and Obama have both said they would raise taxes for the projects that they want. McCain stands for less government and less taxes. If the dems are elected in November, not only will we see higher taxes, we will quite possibly see another terrorist attack on our soil.

Posted by: Billy on Mar 5, 2008 at 01:43 PM
The people of Ohio needed to be educated a little more before they voted. Sure Billy Jeff's term in office was good, but that was because we had a Republican Congress. Hillary is not an innocent bystander. What about Whitewater or Vince Foster. She is just as bad, if not worse than her husband.

Posted by: Joshua in Regards to Alison on Mar 5, 2008 at 01:37 PM
Why do you democrats feel the need to make everything about race? Isn't that what you have been fighting for, equality? It doesn't matter if the candidate is a woman or a black. I am a strong held republican, and yes I am worried about my rights to own firearms. As to you comment about the dems not commenting on this issue, they have...so many times. Maybe you should pay more attention and maybe even possibly look at your candidates voting records! To "Roane CO." what has Bush done to this country? He's saved you from the threat of walking down the street and getting blown up. I don't want to hear anything about the fact that "there were no weapons of mass destruction found". You can't foreworn someone a month or two in advance that you are going to search their country for WMD and expect to find them there.

If you want REAL change - Ron Paul is the guy. Change the course from this path to a Nanny State and go back to - following the Constitution. Governing least = governing best. But people don't seem to want that. They always want "the government" to do something. Well - they never do anything right! And then we all complain about trampling on our rights and "red tape".. well - from the looks of our voting records... we have that coming!

Posted by: Key on Mar 5, 2008 at 01:21 PM
I am so disappointed that the abused childrens levy didn't pass. I'm pretty sure that the hard working man could have afforded to pay just a mere I believe extra $32 a year in taxes. All you have to do is save less than $3 a month and that's pretty easy to do. You can cut down on eating out or some type of luxury like that if you have to. I voted for the levy and would have gladly paid the extra taxes if it would saved and helped just one abused child. People need to have some type of compassion. Whatever happen to helping out your neighbor in need.

Donald, what did Bill Clinton do to this country? Better yet, what has Bush done to this country?

Posted by: Allision on Mar 5, 2008 at 12:26 PM
Why wouldn't you vote for her. Just because of what her husband did, it shouldn't be taken out on her. He is a grown man and makes his own decisions. Do you want to be over ran by black people or can we still go with the way things are as just blacks and whites. I thought this wasn't suppose to be about race but with Obama people it seems to be. Why in the world would you want to vote for McCain. Most republicans are just worried about having their freaking guns taken away. Has anything been said from a Democrate about that NO. That is all I hear about in my area (SE Ohio). Come on people and really think about this. I didn't see anything wrong with Bill Clinton except he could have been a little more decent about the scandal with Monica and been an honest man to his wife. I am 27 and I know what I want in my future - Change and for the better.
